PureTune ("the App") is a guitar tuner application developed by Mike Townsend. This policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is handled.
The App requires access to your device's microphone solely for real-time pitch detection to help you tune your guitar. Audio is processed entirely on your device in real time. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted to any server.
The App does not require an account, login, or registration. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information such as your name, email address, or location.
The App displays banner advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as Advertising ID), IP address, and usage data to serve relevant ads. This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
You can opt out of personalised ads in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalisation.
The App works fully offline. The only network connection used is for loading advertisements. No app data is sent to any external server.
We do not sell, trade, or share any user data with third parties. The only third-party service integrated is Google AdMob for advertising purposes as described above.
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
